  Your purchase of a renewable power option from PGE contributes to the development of new renewable generation sources in the Pacific Northwest. Your purchase also helps reduce air pollution. In fact, an average Oregon household using 910 kWh per month on our Green Source^SM plan for a year offsets CO₂ emissions by about 15,000 pounds.
  
  

• FACT: You can stop your renewable participation at any time.

  You can switch back to traditional power at any time, with no penalty or fee. Simply call us and ask to cancel your renewable power option.
  
  

• FACT: PGE seeks to keep renewable power as inexpensive as possible.

  PGE attempts to keep costs as low as possible for all customers. Power planning is a long-term process. Currently, renewable power is more expensive than our traditional Basic Service mix. But PGE is adding more renewable power to our overall mix all the time. For now, customers who want 100 percent renewable energy have the option to pay a little more for that choice.
