Renewable Energy Options with PGE

Choose from our two different green options to receive clean, renewable sources of energy for your home or business.

Green Source SM

Green Source electricity is approximately 85 percent new wind power and 15 percent new biomass (wood waste) power.*

How it works: 100 percent of your monthly usage is offset with renewable resources.
Cost: Add an extra $0.008 per kWh to your regular PGE rate. It equates to about $7 more a month for a typical PGE residential customer and $13 for a typical small business customer.**

Clean Wind SM

The new wind comes from wind farms in Oregon, Washington and California, as well as Idaho, Wyoming and/or Montana.*

How it works: This is offered in 200 kWh units representing about 20 percent of your monthly usage.**
Cost: Add an extra $3.50 per 200 kWh unit — purchase as many units as you wish.

Plus:

Habitat Support can be added to either option. This monthly $2.50 fee goes directly to The Nature Conservancy , and is dedicated to restoration of local fish habitat.
