Portland ranks best bike city in America

It was only last week Portland came in second in the nation for “most bikeable cities” by Bike Score. Now Portland is redeeming itself.
Portland ranked No. 1, with the most cyclists per capita, for America’s 50 Best Bike Cities by Bicycling Magazine, up from its No. 2 ranking in 2010.
Minneapolis, which topped Bike Score's list, ranked No. 2, followed by Boulder, Colo., at No. 3. Eugene, Ore., ranked No. 9 and Seattle came in at the No. 10 spot.
For its ranking, Bicycling Magazine evaluate cities with populations of 95,000 or more with data from the League of American Bicyclists and the Alliance for Bike and Walking. The magazine also interviewed hundreds of cycling experts in cities throughout the nation.
